QR Code Badge Creation

QR codes are added to attendee badges for Stova events which enables lead information to be scanned by Exhibitors to capture lead details, complete surveys, and send content to event attendees, as needed. Use the below guide to set up your Badge(s) in your Stova Registration event. 

Please Note: If you are not using our Lead Retrieval Badge Template, it is imperative that you follow the steps in this document and completely test print and scan your badges as they will be used in your onsite environment. 

You must use the Stova Onsite Code for your badges for the Stova Lead Capture App to work.

Stova Lead Retrieval QR Code for Badges - Steps and Best Practices

1. Registration Event must be created in Stova platform

2. Event Start and End Dates and Times must be entered in the Event Information tab of the Registration Module.

 

3. Exhibitors module must be activated for the event.

The system creates a Badge Template for the event automatically on successful activation of the Exhibitor module - Visit Reports and Functions tab to view Badges, Labels & Certificates area.

4. This Badge has the name “Exhibitors Lead Capture Badge” and will be active by default.

5. This Badge is created in the event level and user will be able to

a. Edit

b. Copy

c. Delete

6. The Badge created uses the stock “Avery 5384 (3" x 4") - Page Size 11" x 8.5"” by default.

7. You can choose to select any system or custom stock that has been added at the account level.

8. The QR code is placed in the stock by default.

9. You can resize or re position the QR code. ***Please note*** the QR code should not be resized smaller then one inch by one inch or 96 pixels by 96 pixels.

10. You can now add your Attendee info onto the Badge.

11. By default, the QR Code will contain the below information and your Exhibitors will be able to see this information in their app and Exhibitor portal as well.

a. Registrant ID or Confirmation Number

b. Event ID

c. First Name

d. Last Name

e. Company

Once leads have reconciled, additional fields are visible in the Lead Capture App as well as in the Exhibitor Portal. These fields will populate if the corresponding Stova System Standard Attendee Information fields are used for Registrant data.
